NEW YORK (Reuters) - The Minnesota Wild have signed back-up goaltender Josh Harding to a one-year contract, the team said Wednesday.
In 25 games with the Wild last season the 26-year-old Harding went 9-12-0 with a 3.05 goals against average and a .905 save percentage.
"I'm coming back to the organization I've been with all my life and I can't wait to get back at it," Harding, who has played in 83 NHL games over five seasons, said on the team's website (http://wild.nhl.com/).
"Hopefully our team can keep getting better."
The Wild were 38-36-8 last season and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
Financial terms of the contract were not announced.
